A manufacturing enterprise dedicated to precision components
The company completed its shareholding reform in 2018 and operates an independent R&D centre for automotive steering and transmission components. It is a National High-Tech Enterprise, a Ningbo 'Specialized, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative' SME, and a four-star enterprise for management innovation in Zhejiang Province.
With precision machining as its core competence, Hongbo builds its product portfolio around automotive steering systems, hydraulic systems and new energy powertrains. From raw material to finished delivery, grinding, turning, gear forming, heat treatment and metrology are all completed within our own system without external subcontracting — giving us complete control over lead time and quality.
Managed under the IATF 16949:2016 system, the company links quality requirements to the manufacturing process through GP12 early containment, a temperature-controlled workshop, full-process data traceability and networked MDC equipment — providing stable and reliable supply to global Tier-1 suppliers.

Grinding, turning, gear forming, heat treatment and metrology are completed entirely within our own system. 280+ machine tools, with no external subcontracting on critical operations.
Controlled-atmosphere heat treatment line
Micron-level grinding
Double-disc, profile, centreless and cylindrical grinding deliver tolerances down to 0.002 mm.
Gear and profile forming
Hobbing, shaping and two-way rolling keep gears, splines and special slots fully in-house.
In-house screw line
A dedicated screw line with controlled-atmosphere heat treatment delivers consistent microstructure and hardness.
Metrology
19 inspection machines at 0.001 mm accuracy cover dimensions, form, tooth profile, material and cleanliness.
